WAREHOUSE MANANAGER

The warehouse manager will supervise all activities of a new facility for a Ladies Global Fashion Brand. This will often involve overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving of goods in and the management processes internally reflecting in a white glove packing service. Including for the shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage. The WM will be responsible for staffing the facility and running a lean structure while helping the day to day activities run smoothly within the WMS, this is on a 6 day week business activity Monday to Saturday.

This is a hands on role and the expectation is that the facility is kept clean and tidy so we can develop our white glove packing policies and procedures accordingly.

Besides supervising staff, the warehouse manager is responsible for several material and equipment-related distribution procedures.

· Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.

· Complies with UAE and Local legislation, including local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation.

· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.

· Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts maximising the WMS operations

· Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analysing variances.

· Has local knowledge on legislation & law in GCC / MENA on VAT, Imports & Exports, Trading with the Mainland

· Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.

· Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

· Improves staff performance by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.

The job location is DMCC JLT, standard working conditions exist within a prebuilt and function warehouse facility. The role will provide salary growth for the correct individual and as the business grows. An interest in ladies fashion would be appreciated and a knowledge of an ecommerce business model.

Knowledge of general software and applications for WMS
Min 3 Years Warehouse Management Experience
Degree Certified
Report Daily in Accounts
Keeping Clean presentation skills & Standards High
Collaborates Daily with our UK Office
Good English language skills both written & Spoken, basic Arabic would be beneficial
Basic knowledge of Accounting Software, policies & procedures

Salary is 15,000 aed plus standard UAE Terms on holidays, public holidays, visa expectations and health insurance.

Immediate start for the correct individual with appropraite skillset and outlook, with a desire to create their own team and Pick/Pack Dynamic.
