QA/QC Engineer

Position: QA/QC Engineer
Tasks include:
• Responsible for the QA/QC operational functions are involved in allocated areas set by the Quality manager.
• Implementation and monitoring of construction activity according to the ITP and project requirements and initiative to solve Quality problems.
• Initiate site Inspection/Testing and ensure compliance with project specifications/standards.
• Arrange Trail mix, mock-up, and collection & record of samples.
• Quality induction and training shall be conducted regular basis with site staff.
• Conducting materials receiving inspection with approved suppliers and preparing MERI, follow-up with Engineer approval.
• Identify non-conformance on site and issue Non-Compliance Report’s guidelines to QA/QC manager.
• Coordinate with the construction team regarding quality-related issues to solve and for continuous improvements/records.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain field test records.
• Preparations for reports as per approved Project Quality Plan (PQP’s).
• Prepare QA/QC weekly/monthly reports including KPI’s.
• Compiling & coordinating all quality control documents with 3rd party laboratory for submission for Client approval.
Requirements:
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Work Experience: Min 10 Years in the Construction sector especially experience in Infrastructure Projects, Earthworks, Backfilling, Rock filling, Subgrade, Subbase, Concrete, Laboratory, and Site Tests.
• Good knowledge of Civil Engineering and QMS, ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and the Updating of standards.
• Providing Quality training to Construction Staff.
• Coordination, Computer, Communication, Teamwork, Implementation of Quality documents, Training skills.
