QA/QC Engineer

We are hiring Joinery Industry experienced QA/QC Engineer part of our growing team.
This role will manage all QA/QC activities for the company’s prestigious joinery / Interior Fit out projects in UAE, as well as manage the Quality Management systems for the company.
Job Role:
• Manages department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources.
• Ensures delivery against QA department goals and objectives.
• Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy.
• Provide leadership for the company’s Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Process.
• Works closely with the Joinery Factory to achieve high quality of works and output on joinery
• To recommend actions to correct observed quality deficiencies.
• Review product submittals against specifications.
• Review & approval of all associated suppliers issued quality assurance control documentation, problem solving of field inspection non-conformances and deviations from suppliers during inspection life cycle.
• Develop & implement the Internal Compliance Audit Program under ISO9001:2008 QMS System.
• Maintains product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
• Manages the planning and execution of product testing efforts.
• Works with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related projects and other activities such as software deployment, customer integration, and professional services validation.
• Check supplied materials, furniture or equipment match their specified areas and locations in the drawings.
• Responsible for the final handover of the project, till defect liability period.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in QA/QC for Joinery Production & Fit-out Projects.
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel and working experience with Auto-cad and Primavera
• Must be well versed in applicable International Codes, Standards and Specifications of construction and maintenance/refurbishment.
• Previous Middle East experience preferred.
