Project Architect

RMJM is seeking to appoint a Project Architect to support the continued growth of our Dubai Studio.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing all aspects of assigned projects and organizing internal design reviews and workshops
• Providing strategic, technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership
• Ensuring design is advanced appropriately and iteratively through each design stage
• Manage project budgets, schedules and programs
• Serve as primary liaison to clients, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to bring schedule, budget and scope of work to completion
• Assign sub-consultants and third parties as required, to complete the contracted project scope and coordinates the projects’ submissions and deliverables, ensuring timely and quality deliverables
• Mentor and develop other staff, team members and participate in presentations and meetings as necessary
• Establish project programme with Design Director
• Supporting business development team and providing input on received RFP’s
• Oversee submissions for building permit and Civil Defense
• Initiating and managing QA/QC and Peer Reviews
Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture
• Minimum of ten years relevant project leadership working experience in GCC
• Excellent skills in Revit, Naviswork, Dynamo, Photoshop, Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion and InDesign
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch/develop designs on paper as well as digitally
• Experience in running large-scale residential, hospitality and commercial projects
• Proven record of achieving project schedules, goals, and objectives
