Senior Technical Architect

RMJM is seeking to appoint a Senior Technical Architect to support the continued growth of our Dubai Studio.
Responsibilities Include:
• Appraising the Client’s brief with technical responsibility throughout the entire project and procurement process, including concept design, schematic design, detail design, tender documentation, specifications production, IFT and IFC documentation.
• Managing a team of architects
• Coordinating with Client project teams
• Coordinating with sub-consultants (incl. BIM Coordination skills) to produce stage deliverables
• Ensuring Local Authority compliance and International Standards
• Reviewing progress and resolving outstanding issues
• Managing QA/QC and Peer Review processes
• Supporting business the development team and providing input on received RFP’s
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture
• Minimum of ten years’ relevant project leadership experience in the GCC
• Ability to work effectively with large project teams
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to sketch and develop designs on paper as well as digitally
• Experience in managing large residential, hospitality and commercial projects
• Ability to consistently achieve tight project timelines, goals, and objectives
