Senior Chemist

We are urgently looking for the position of Senior Chemist in Dubai Location.
Salary 3500 AED - 4,000 AED
Job Description:
• He/she shall be responsible for all the technical activities in the laboratory and shall report to Unit
• Head (Chemical).
• He/she shall take the charge of the department in the absence of the Unit Head (Chemical).
• He/she shall assist the Unit Head (Chemical) in coordinating the daily activities of the department.
• He/she shall ensure that all samples received by the department are tested adequately as per the standard test method.
• Shall ensure that only calibrated equipment is used for testing purposes.
• Shall be responsible for checking the handwritten worksheets are filled adequately during test performances and submitted to the Unit Head (Chemical) after initialing the worksheet.
• Ensure proper usage of consumable items and that those items are maintained in a safe manner.
• Ensure strict compliance with all necessary safety practices and equipment in the laboratory while working and / or conducting tests.
• Undergoes any internal / external training programs which the organization finds suitable to the nature of the activities performed in the laboratory.
• Maintains and controls stock of hazardous chemical items and record shall be maintained for the consumption of the same.
• Performs the Internal Quality check samples assigned by the Quality Department.
• Coordinates with the Quality Assurance Department regarding the scheduled training activities of all chemists in the department
