Valve Technician

For a Trading company dealing in HVAC items, we are looking for a Valve Technician to perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves and attend to site technical issues. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, PICV, FCU connect etc.
Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves
Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and BS standard as required.
Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
Works closely with co-workers, management, and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Site visit to analyze the issue and take necessary steps to fix the technical issues
Guide the site Engineers on installation of actuators, wiring, valves assembling, setting the PICV and attend to any issues in installation at site

QUALIFICATION

· Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering / Electrical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience

· Fluency in English

· Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to travel outside the UAE

· Energetic, follows instructions and presentable with strong communication skills

· Previous experience in the same job is preferred
