We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer (Wet Utilities & Drainage) with at least 10 years’ experience (of which 6-7 years’ experience must be in Dubai).
10 + years’ experience in designing of drainage systems for highways, urban roads and design of culverts, soak ways, storage tanks and pump/lifting station
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• Experience in hydraulic and hydrology design and software such as Sewer Gems, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS etc.
• Experience in MS Office (word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Familiar with Dubai local authorities’ requirements such as DM, RTA, DEWA etc.
• Experience in Design packages review
• Site experience will be an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
Major Responsibilities:
• Design review of wet utilities and drainage design packages from the consultant
• Review the scope of work and identify the additional quantities added by the consultant or as per authorities’ requirements
• Liaise with the engineer and authorities for approval including attending meetings, prepare presentations and reports
• Coordinate with site team to solve any issues
