Housekeeping Attendant

We are currently recruiting a Housekeeping Attendant.  The preferred candidate must be in UAE.
You’re Day To Day:
• You will support all housekeeping and laundry team for all aspects by delegating the day to day activities.
• Responsible to clean the different areas of the hotel, delivering high standards
• Able to work in the cleaning of rooms, in the cleaning of public areas or in the laundry accordingly to the hotels operational needs, company standards and guarantee highest quality.
• To keep all the equipment clean, tidy and well maintained.
• To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and tools under use.
• Maintains responsibilities for the keys which have been signed for, within his/ her possession
• Makes up assigned guest rooms as per the hotel standards.
• Maintains trolley in a clean, neat and tidy order.
• Places Room Service items out of guest view in the lift areas.
• Turns in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office.
• Reports large sums of money or jewellery to the Supervisor.
• Reports to the Supervisor all rooms not requiring service or displaying a DND sign.
• Reports to the Supervisor any Blankets, bed skirts, etc. that require changing.
• Reports any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Performs spring cleaning as and when required.
• Performs turndown service when required.
• Reports any Health and Safety Hazards.
• Reports any unusual behaviour.
• Can respond to guest requests regarding facilities within the Hotel.
• Removes and informs the office, of items found upon check out of the guest, example - foam pillow, iron, adaptor, kettle, etc.
• Records accurately room discrepancies.
• Minimum of 1 year housekeeping attendant experience
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule
