Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher

We are looking to hire a Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher (English, Science and Math).
A competent candidate should be able to do the following:
• Teach all areas of the curriculum for all three subjects confidently.
• Communicate in English fluently (speaking & writing).
• Take responsibility for the progress of learners with different abilities and different learning styles.
• Organize the classroom and learning resources to create displays that encourage a positive learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of all learners.
• Motivate learners with enthusiastic, creative and imaginative presentations of lessons.
• Maintaining discipline in the classroom using appropriate classroom management techniques.
• Provide feedback on learner’s progress to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities, resources and lesson planning with colleagues.
• Keep up to date with changes and latest developments in the structure of the curriculum and pedagogical strategies.
Applicants must have the following requirements:
• 1-2 years teaching experience in UAE, (American Curriculum).
• IELTS certificate for English Language Proficiency.
• Able to start immediately.
Since we are looking for a candidate who can start work immediately; applicants outside the UAE will not be considered.
