Hiring HSE Manager
• Basic criteria
• Education: Bachelor Degree in any related Science Courses
• Language Efficiency: English
• Computer efficiency: Computer literate
Other:
• UAE Driving license
• General Industry Certified Safety and Health Specialist
• Current relevant Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or Any Other Level 6 OHS Diploma), Minimum Grad IOSH Status
• ISO 14001:2015 LEAD Auditor Certification
• ISO 45011:2018 LEAD Auditor Certification
• At least 10 years’ experience as HSE manager in Civil, MEP and Infrastructure.
Accountability:
• Ensuring implementation and maintenance of HSE system within the organization.
• Ensuring implementation of internal audits effectively.
• Participating in management reviews
• Advising Project and Top Management on HSE deliverables for continual improvement across Project.
Responsibilities:
• Review & update HSE policy statement of the Organization.
• Implementation and communication of QHSE policy.
• Reviewing and updating of the QHSE policy.
• Undertake QHSE project audits on periodic basis.
• Presides and takes minutes of HSE committee meetings.
• Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
• Manage the consultants with the discharge of their respective OHS obligations – monitor performance.
• Manage incident reporting and investigations in conjunction with the principal contractor(s) / Engineer.
• Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
• Carry out independently regular site safety inspections - record observations and suggested improvements.
• Key point of contact regarding in house safety system
• Assist with the implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.
• Assist with HSE compliance registers in the country of operation.
• Assist with audits for ISO 9001:2015,45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 and other applicable standards.
• Assist in the creation and coordination of annual audits and inspection schedules for accounts, undertake and provide support for Operational.
• Promote HSE management systems to all staff.
• Identify and communicate areas of improvement and best practice.
• Highlight any risks and suggest mitigating corrective actions.
• Have a proactive approach to activities and work flexibly to support Project teams.
• Lead the ISO 45011:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 Annual Surveillance and Renewal Certification Audit for the Organization.
• Well-versed about the Dubai Municipality and OSHAD rules and regulations.
