الوصف الوظيفي RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. • Responsible for database installation, backup and recovery, SQL tuning, clustering or HA, migration, data processing (such as ETL, data correlation and data cleaning), and data security/patch management. • Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development • Documentation of production database schema and objects according to the application requirements designed by development team. • Performs database hardening to secure the systems from known risks and vulnerabilities. • Follows internal policies and procedures related to databases and commit to SLA. • Transformation of RDMS databases to NoSQL platform if necessary. • Automation of DBA tasks using PowerShell/TSQL, jobs, bash scripts or maintenance plans. • Able to calculate any service impact during scheduled database maintenance. • Perform root cause diagnosis, analysis and troubleshooting during failure or outage. • Perform regular monitoring, capacity planning and disaster recovery. • Expertise in bulk data migration, synchronization between multiple SQL servers either on-premise or cloud • Develop and implement backup and restore best practices, create disaster recovery plans and archiving strategies. • Provide guidance and support to the enterprise; act as single point of contact for DBA related issues. المهارات • 5 to 10 years MS SQL Server and MySQL administration experience. • 2+ years knowledge of Oracle databases • Knowledge of any NoSQL platform (MongoDB, Redis, Couchbase or Cassandra DB). • Working knowledge with PowerShell or bash scripts. • Experience with performance tuning and optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools • Proficient in SQL language and SQL tuning methods in both MS Windows and Linux environments. • Strong practical experience in distributed database and big data platform is preferred. • Must have worked in services with 99.995% or more uptime/SLA. • Good exposure to ITIL processes and compliance such as SAMA CSF, PCI-DSS and ISO27001 • Industry certification in database management and technology is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/uae/jobs/senior-database-administrator-4567693/?from_job_search=/ar/jobs/?filters%5Bjb_location_country_iso%5D%5B0%5D=ae&filters%5Bjb_location_country_iso%5D%5B1%5D=kw&filters%5Bjb_location_country_iso%5D%5B2%5D=qa&filters%5Bjb_location_country_iso%5D%5B3%5D=sa&jobId=4470788&options%5Bjb_is_external_job%5D%5B0%5D=1&page=15 |
