Hiring Senior Procurement Engineer
Location:  Dubai

Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluating suppliers, products, services.
• Support projects in preparing Materials Approval Requests (MAR), ensuring complete vendors’ submittals to expedite clients’ approvals
• Overseeing Purchase orders issuance and follow up with vendors
• Lead resolutions on any deviation from Vendors to the terms and conditions of
• Purchase of Goods and Site Services
• Search and identify new reliable vendors in Locally and internationally who can support to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
• Negotiate contracts terms and conditions in close coordination with Legal and finance departments
• Liaise with projects’ management to ensure orders are issued on time to match schedules and site requirements
• Coordinate with Logistic team for materials on time deliveries to sites
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage Vendors’ prequalification addressing their production capabilities, quality, and financial health
• Reporting of expenditures against budgets highlighting variances and mitigation plans.
• Ability to coordinate between vendors and 3rd party Certification Bodies to issue
• Different Shipments’ certifications such as Saber registrations in KSA.
• Establish and maintain suppliers’ data base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
• Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous Improvements
Job Requirements/Experience:
• Minimum five years procurement experience in contracting, HVAC, or refrigeration’s industries
Technical/Functional (Knowledge / Skills)
• Hands on experience with the complete procurement cycles including RFI, RFQ, RFP, commercial comparisons, vendor selections, Purchase orders, LOIs, Contracts.
• Very good exposure to different vendors in UAE and international markets
• Basic knowledge with the international logistics activities and INCOTERMS.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent MS office skills + knowledge of SAP
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Industrial, electrical, or Mechanical engineering
