Procurement Manager

We are urgently Looking for a Procurement Manager – Fit outs & Construction
Purpose of this Job:
The procurement manager is responsible for smooth functioning of the procurement operations on a daily basis and would also hold responsibility for all strategic and decisive decisions from a procurement perspective.
Key Deliverables:
• Specialized in procurement of interior fit out & civil works including hard and soft finishing.
• Good network of FF&E;suppliers local and international.
• Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
• Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
• Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
• Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
• Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company
• Attend meetings with the legal team, engineering team, vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications, skills & experience:
• Technically qualified with a degree in civil or Construction would be first choice candidates.
• Professional qualifications in the procurement discipline (CIPS)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Civil/contracts/construction industry.
• Contractual and legal know-how with specifics to the region.
• Extensive sourcing and negotiation skills
• Exceptional communications skills in English – Oral and written
• Candidates who are immediately available in UAE will be preferred.
