Urgent Hiring: Senior Accountant
Candidate must be based in the UAE
Job Description:
• Responsible for Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and preparation of financial statements
• Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance and compliance to internal policies.
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Meet monthly VAT and other tax compliance, state business registration, contract review, and non-profit tax filing
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Facilitate the quarterly, interim and annual external audit by providing the required information in timely manner
• Guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Required Qualifications:
• Financial Statements
• Reconciling
• Financial Reporting
• General Ledger
• Journal Entries
• Balance Sheet
• Month closing
• Trail balance
• IAS, IFRS
• Completed a professional qualification ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA etc.
• Has 6 years of finance experience including 3 years in similar role in UAE
• Has experience of working on oracle and power BI.
