Customer Service Representative

We are looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for our office based in Dubai, UAE. The candidate must be able to start immediately as this position is urgently needed.
Essential Functions
• Generate quotes based on part numbers provided by customers or identified based on description; prepare and provide price and delivery information in an acceptable format to the end customer.
• Manage orders; handle and process email, telephone and telefax orders, enter them into the business system, review delivery schedule.
• Attract potential customers and provide high quality service to customers by answering product and service questions; provide information about other products and services
• Handle customer complaints, examine root cause, and suggest corrective action
• Inform customer of promotions as well as identifying upsell opportunities
• Open and maintain customer accounts
• Acquire and retain profound standard product range knowledge
• Prepare pick lists for the logistics team.
• Provide project support as required by supervisor
• Answer telephones and direct callers as appropriate
• Communicate with the factory on customer orders, returns, and certifications
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Preferred Skills and Competencies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in engineering, sales, or related field
• Strong phone presence and experience making calls
• Customer service focus with prompt response time to customer needs
• Strong computer skills and prior experience with a CRM database
