We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advanced UX Designer to join Honeywell’s Connected Enterprise.  As part of the HCE UX team you will work on projects that help Honeywell connected Cyber create better experiences for their users. You’ll help lead projects with product leaders, developers, other designers, and customers to define and build software that solves the important issues our customers are having.

Senior Advanced UX Designer responsibilities:

· Lead the entire iterative design process from discovery to launch.

· Work closely with product leaders to clarify and address key business/customer goals

· Design and conduct qualitative studies that inform product concepts; translate data into results that have a clear, direct impact on design.

· Partner with developers to deliver the best experience for the user

· Account for each stage of the user journey using user flow diagrams, low-fidelity sketches, etc.

· Document functional user requirements to communicate design, process, rationale and decisions that direct and support UX/UI and functional design

· Lead and mentor designers and researchers

Qualifications and Experience

· A portfolio that demonstrates your processes, and way of thinking. It should also tell the story of what you contributed to the projects and how you helped lead the research and design solutions.

· 8+ years of experience in UX research and UX design

· Prior experience with usability testing and user research methods.

· Demonstrated skill and creativity for selecting the right mix of methods to provide actionable insights to research questions and business goals, and the capacity to invent new methods when the right method does not exist.

· Excellent communications skills both verbally and writing.

· Leading user experience design projects in an agile software development environment

· The ability to run design sprints and facilitate Design Thinking workshops

· The ability to lead strategic UX discussions.

· Fluent English communication

· The ability to look at the entire product ecosystem of a program to identify areas of improvement and create a plan to address the issue

· Advanced degree or equivalent experience in HCI, UX design other user centered design program

· Fluent with design and prototyping tools, e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, etc.

· Post-graduate degree in a design research-related discipline.

· Experience with user research tools such as UserTesting and UserZoom

· Proven track record for close team teamwork and influencing outcomes with a well-informed direction

· Experience leading and mentoring designers and researchers

· Previous work within a SaaS and/or B2B organization

· Previous work with a cyber products/domain
