Construction Superintendent (Offshore projects)
• Expediting the engineering drawing release from the contractor design team by supporting them by communicating with the CPY engineering.
• Expediting the shop drawing issuance to the yard team considering the fabrication sequence and getting it to release sequentially to make the fabrication smooth without Obstructions.
• Follow up and expedite the material received from the Vendor with respect to the drawing availability to make open up the fabrication fronts.
• Supporting yard fabrication team and engineering team to solve the fabrication issues by advising them for raising the STQ/TQ /FCN or through any email communications to solve the issues on an urgent basis.
• Daily/regular communication with the Contractor Yard team – Production, Engineering, Planning and quality to solve the fabrication Issues and to open up the fabrication work front to expedite the work for the early project completion.
• Monitoring day to day fabrication activities and involved in making the Major decision with the Contractor for expediting day to day work.
• Participating in brainstorming with the Contractor production and engineering team to make fabrication sequence the easiest way with less consumption of time and cost
