About the role:

We are looking for an English and Arabic copywriter to join our growing team. Preference for candidates who are available to join immediately.

As a member of the marketing creative team, the copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including blog, mobile, video, weekly campaigns, and social media), working closely with the brand and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. dYou will support the Marketing team with creating the strategy for content in line with the brand guidelines and tone of voice. The ideal candidate is a creative team player with excellent reading, writing, and research skills.

Key responsibilities

Produce communications that encourage stakeholders and raise the profile of Umrahme
Write clear, engaging copy with a distinct voice
Write clear & concise content aimed for different stakeholders
Write and adapt copy to suit different formats (social, blog, email, case studies)
Fact check claims and conduct research related to the subject matter
Collaborate with and aid the creative team on large- and small-scale marketing projects from concept development to delivery of the final product.
Proofread and refine existing copy and adapt it to fit multiple channels of marketing communications
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach (relevant training will be provided)
Reach set targets to increase the content bank
Analyze competitor activity and recommend improvements to increase brand content performance

المهارات
Candidate profile:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications.
Native Arabic speaking (for Arabic copywriter) and Excellent English for English copywriter.
2-3 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work
Exceptional reading, writing, and research skills
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
Experience working with content management systems, WordPress and CMS.
Good understanding of SEO and keyword optimization.
