One of our government client in Abu Dhabi is looking for Specialist - Systems Administration and Support.
Specialist Systems Administration and Support
Years of Experience: 3-6 Years +
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Support Function, ensuring all Tickets are logged and prioritized in line with SLAs
• Responsible for ensuring all Customer Service Requests are proactively fulfilled
• Responsible for ensuring all Incidents are investigated and key users are kept up to date on progress
• Responsible for the initial Root Cause Analysis (debugging) of all Problems and their timely escalation if required
• Receive IT service calls from End users, and assign to the responsible team/ technician.
• Handling End users requests and obtaining necessary approvals before proceeding.
• Follow-up on resolution of the previous tickets assigned to the various IT teams.
• Troubleshooting and resolving end user’s issues via phone
• Troubleshooting and resolving end user’s issues by connecting to user laptop remotely using remote tool.
• Grant access on generic Applications
• Unlock user account, Resetting user account password
• Responsible for Identifying, arranging and implementing suitable solutions to Bugs/Problems.
• Responsible for monitoring the health applications and investigations as required
• Reporting of Supporting Trends, areas for Service Improvement and potential new features to Management
• Proactive continuous review applications to build a detailed understanding of all applications
• Building strong relationships with our Customers through regular contact and first-class service
• Regularly communicate with users regarding issues, investigations and updates
• Enthusiastic and willingness to learn new technologies and skills
• A keen interest in problem solving and the drive to go the extra mile to complete the task
• Ability to work as part of a team and always take pride in the quality of their work
• Work with IT team to ensure that security and architecture requirements are fulfilled.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Oracle technologies.
• Maintain SQL, and PL/SQL development and coding standards.
• SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports (10g,11g,12c), Oracle database (10g,11g,12c,19c), SQL*Loader.
• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL development with designing data structures, building functions, stored procedures, indexes, triggers.
• Manage your time and daily activities to satisfy work assignments, performance and deliverables. Communicate status of work assignments.
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask on multiple projects or competing requests.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the Information Technology field.
• Able to support 24/7 on emergency.
