* Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines and report to VP SCM EM as well as Local Compliance Officer for any irregularity * Provide input on local Market needs to VP SCM EM, and – together with VP SCM EM - ensures rapid implementation of global/local solutions * Lead MENA related SCM improvements and efficiency programs as requested by VP SCM EM and proactively bring up ideas for profit ability enhancement * Propose organizational structure to VP SCM EM , drive objectives, and manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement * Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
: * University Degree with focus on operations/logistics/business administration * 7+ years experience in Logistics/Operations Industry/Customer Service with minimum 5 years team management experience * Background with retail / FMCG, Sporting Goods industry ideal, not a must * Fluent in English Job Title: Senior Director SCM MENA Location: Dubai
