Role Purpose:
The role of the Corporate Communications Manager is to develop and manage MAF Lifestyle communications strategy and implement a broad range of public relations activities and plans to achieve organizational, business and brand goals. The role is also responsible for ensuring all external and internal communications’ messaging and narratives are consistent with Corporate Communications standards.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Develops an effective communication strategy and implement comprehensive communication plans ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
Oversees the ongoing progress of the strategy. Developing a comprehensive PR plan including monitoring publicity achieved vs targets set per year.
Develop and implement an overarching corporate external and internal communications guidelines, policies, and processes.
Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate key messages, stakeholders mapping, and master narrative.
Develop and implement crisis and issues communications strategies, policies, and processes – in close coordination with MAF Holding.
Develop and execute varied and integrated thought leadership communications across all channels including print, digital, TV, internal, etc.
Proactively manages and mitigates issues, keeping a close eye on how issue is unfolding within social media and in coordination with Holding Corporate Communications, as required.
Works closely with our Legal and other functional teams as needed, as well as agency partners who have been hired to develop and execute issues/crisis communications programming.
Leverage key events with anchors in order to create positive PR and ensure brand positioning
Monitor competitor’s communications and promotions (offline, online, social media).
Develop strategic CSR plans under MAF Lifestyle CSR general guidelines and key focus including developing CSR layers to organize planned campaigns and ensure its timely promotion and execution.
Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to PR & Communications campaigns for review and prompt decision making.
Manage PR agencies and conducts periodic reviews and audits.
Ensure that all PR plan / activities are timely executed with highest quality standards.
Ensure consistency of the corporate external communications strategies, plans and message across the company
Conduct companywide corporate communications audit and review to ensure Lifestyle compliance with Code of Conduct and policies & processes.
Ensure that all Communications efforts are aligned with the Annual Marketing Plan, Brand positioning and overall objectives.
Review corporate communications content and deliverables from concept through execution, including, but not limited to company annual report, website and social and digital media content, media materials, executive presentations/speeches, talking points and memos.
Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier local and regional media and other stakeholders.
Act as a key contact to members of the media who are seeking information about the company and its brands.
Build rapport across operational functions to ensure keen understanding of business requirements and support with optimal service.
Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.
