Job Description
Responsibilities:
Sales Leader for all things platform in the META region.
Present and lead conversations with clients, engaging with C-suite and senior strategic contacts to showcase the value of the application.
Set up the proper process for platform pipeline and identifying commercial opportunities for growth.
Be the product and commercial champion for gfknewron, both internally and externally.
Internal spokesperson for gfknewron,including platform demos and delivering training to sales teams.
Help clients to understand that GfK is going digital.
Establish the sales cycle to bring trials to billable moments and renewals.
Work closely with Client Success Managers to drive client engagement in solutions, tactical support for existing gfknewron clients.
Work closely with SAMs, Commercial Directors, VP META and gfknewron Sales Experts from other regions (role does not lead a team).
Create client acquisition and activation strategies & execution for respective solutions.
Look for growth opportunities to expand digital GfK service usage across the client footprint.
Cross/upselling of GfK portfolio, always in line with client needs detected.
Maintain understanding of customer requirements, trends, risks, opportunities, and satisfaction.
Requirements:
Capability and capacity to work closely with, and sell, to Client C levels.
Ability to drive multi-million software contracts in a wide geography for local, regional and global accounts.
Ability to lead, coach and steer the solution selling capability across the region
Digital native solution selling background.
Experience in leadership roles in a multi-country, multi-culture context and in leading international projects with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
Attitude to business which puts the client at the centre of all activities and the willingness to go the extra mile for them.
Proven track record of rapid development of sustainable relationship with key accounts
Proven track record of building high performance team(s) driving software adoption and activation.
Understanding of the broader client P&L;and budgeting process to facilitate increased share of wallet beyond traditional market research budgets.
Highly experienced communicator with highly developed senior interaction skills.
Demonstrates a consultative approach to selling, always starting with client’s requirements.
Must be commercially driven with an ability to work in a flexible, fast changing environment.
Deep understanding of B2B sales process for durable goods and technology clients, the
opportunities which must be leveraged and the obstacles which need to be overcome, to sell in sophisticated data solutions.
English language proficiency is essential.
