Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) E-Commerce
Reports to: Head of Business Development
Nearoo, headquartered in Dubai, is the first social e-commerce platform from the region. We look to change the way how people shop online by introducing concept of social e-commerce. Our mission is to become the number 1 marketplace platform for buying and selling things online and number 1 on demand delivery platform for supermarkets and shops.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is one of the most crucial roles in our company and we need the best fit for this role. The BDM is the first point of contact with our valued partners, the shops and “Talkies” sellers. The BDM hold the responsibility of selecting and sealing a partnership with the best shop in each area and “Talkies” sellers from each category.
Primary responsibilities:
Identify potential partnership opportunities by researching market / industry and build and maintain database of shops, sellers and contacts.
Cold call as to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional network.
Find new ways of approaching stores and sellers that will convince them to do business with Nearoo.
Ensure accuracy in collection and submission of on boarding documents/checklist and help on boarding team as and when required.
Develop a cordial professional rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to partners.
Daily operational management of key partnerships.
Assist and cooperate with other Business Development Managers.
Work in close collaboration with other teams to ensure alignment of broader goals.
Provide feedback towards improving the applications and the processes of the company.
Plan, organize, and execute business development programs.
Share insights and activities of competitors with Field Marketing Analyst.

Business or engineering related bachelor/masters preferred.
