الوصف الوظيفي · The General Manager of Healthcare Sector is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation and delivery of healthcare services with a focus on clinical and corporate governance, service delivery and quality review within an established framework of controlled decentralization and autonomy involving user participation for the MOBH Group. · The job holder is responsible to direct the Group Healthcare strategy into the best of the Group and the best future market trends. · The job holder is responsible to work with the Business Development Department and the Finance Division on evaluating the feasibility and viability of all the current and new potential business opportunities in the Healthcare market. The job holder is responsible for the profitability (bottom-line) of the healthcare business of the Group. · Lead the development and implementation of strategy for the Healthcare Business Sector and ensure it is aligned to MOBH corporate objectives. · Lead the healthcare services through the different functions of the directorates within the department in order to ensure that public health services are effective and responsive to MOBH Group’s needs. · Manage the effective, efficient and timely implementation of strategies, standards and regulations · Identify and plan the training and development of healthcare professionals and non-healthcare personnel according to their needs. · Coordinate, facilitate and ensure ongoing consultation with internal and external stakeholders, including service users. · Coordinate and promote health informatics in all healthcare services, utilizing technology-based services. · Identify issues in healthcare services and develop recommendations as required. · Collect, analyse and disseminate health information to ensure continuous monitoring, innovation and sustainability of healthcare services. Ensure that standards and regulations adopted by the Ministry are implemented by healthcare providers. · Identify opportunities within the value chain of various business units (BUs) and develop feasibility studies in conjunction with Business Development Director to present to Chairman. · Develop strategic business-growth plans along with operational policies and procedures to maintain an integrated, systematic and seamless service at MOBH Group level. · Participate in the overall strategic business planning of the Group as a functional / subject matter expert. · Monitor and report on the market and competitor strategies and activities. · Identify potential clients for each BU, and maintain and build key customer relationships. Ensure client retention by working with all BUs to meet customer needs. · Ensure continuous improvements and enhancements to the existing systems and processes to support better reporting to Chairman. · Manage and increase the effectiveness of healthcare team, through continuous improvements and ensure constant communication within the department. · Continuously improve the Healthcare services in the Group by evaluating the performance of the HC operators and measure them against the market position to generate more profitability to the Group. Evaluate and monitor the performance and the HC services provided by the Group and the Operators and develop improvement strategies. المهارات · University graduate with a degree in Business Management, Healthcare, Medicine, Pharmaceutical or related discipline. MBA/ MSc and/ or MA is a plus. · 10+ years of industry related experience of which a similar position / responsibility. · Demonstrates skills, knowledge and experience in strategies and techniques required for achieving sales targets. · Extensive experience in clinical analytics, leadership and management in Health Plan and Health system settings. · Strong leadership, decision-making and people development skills. · Demonstrates strong negotiating skills. · Ability to navigate cross-functional landscapes and establish strong collaborative relationships with various MOBH organizations inside and outside of MOBH. · Proficiency in customer relationship management. · Outstanding group presentation and communication skills. · Proficient administrative skills.
