الوصف الوظيفي · Support the development of group strategy by contributing financial and accounting information, financial forecasts, analysis and recommendations and other inputs. · Establish annual financial strategy, objectives and financial KPIs that align with the Group’s plans and strategy. · Work with the Head of BD / Strategy to define organizational prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities for the improvement and cost reduction, to ensure strategic goals of the Group are achieved. · Review and analyse the capital request and annual budget of the Group and provide professional advice. · Develop financial and tax strategies and report financial results to the Board of Directors. · Evaluate and advice on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. · Support decision makers, with reviewing and approving policy and operational proposals that have a financial and commercial impact on the organization. Provide high level financial advice to the Executive Management, Board of Directors and the Chairman · Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation. · Introduce an effective framework of internal controls to protect the overall interest of the organization. · Monitor the financial operations and the flow of the financial information for group and divisions/business units. · Advise on appropriate technology for the Group’s information requirements (ERP) and financial resources. · Lead the establishment of the financial, accounting and informational systems (ERP) and driving seamless integration across all Units. · Enhance the BI / Dashboards for better and faster decision-making process. · Make sure to establish all financial accounting system’s documents and records to support the country taxation system and for the benefit of the Group. · Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting MOBH’s business units’ operations. · Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate · Maintain a strong working relationship with banks, financial institutions and capital markets with the aim of securing the funds and financial solutions necessary for the Group and the attainment of its development plans and to support its business operations. · Ensure all cash flows secured to cover any current and future financial obligations; by monitoring cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debts and equity financing and invests’ funds. · Make decisions on cash deployment and optimizing organization’s liquid funds in order to maximize return on short-term surpluses and minimize the cost of short-term deficits.Analysis and Reporting · Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and trends in order to assist the Chairman, the Board, Executive Committee, all Corporate Senior Executives and Business Unit Heads in performing their roles and responsibilities. · Review and analyse periodic financial results and provide recommendations. · Oversee review process of general reconciliation of all accounting transactions to ensure that they are error free and that all accounting transactions and entries are correctly captured. · Establish regular and basic ERP reports that could be accessed by the concerned Units for better results reviews and stronger decision-making process. · Oversee / Manage the preparation of annual or periodical financial reports as per IFRS standards in liaison with external auditors and ensure that all records, books financial positions are in full compliance with UAE Laws & Regulations. · Prepare all supporting information for the annual audits and liaise with the Board’s Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary. · Ensure record keeping meets the requirements of external auditors and relevant government agencies. · Maintain relationships with government agencies, clients, banks and other relevant external stakeholders and continually manage / monitor the same. · Maintain a strong relationship with all the Departments Heads to ensure enforcing all financial checks and controls smoothly and professionally. · Report risk and issues to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.Fraud Detection and Control · Implement appropriate measures to prevent and detect fraud and corruption within the organization and Finance function and the organization. · Monitor internal controls in all areas of financial management, risk management and asset control in coordination with the Audit / Assurance Department. · Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department heads on financial issues impacting department budgets. · Ensure continuous improvements and enhancements to the existing financial systems and processes to support better reporting to the Chairman/Group CEO, Board of Directors and Executive Committee. · Manage and increase the effectiveness of the Finance team, through continuous improvements and ensure constant communication within the department. المهارات · Experience in the following is desirable: - Finance and accounting experience with similar size organizations - Corporate finance with exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures - Languages: English mandatory. · Excellent analytical ability. · Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Analysis. · Detail-oriented, efficient and organized. · Responds well in fast-paced, high-pressure environment. · Excellent communication skills. · Excellent knowledge of advanced MS-Excel. · Working knowledge of finance systems and software. · Experience of capital raising activities and investment management. · Experience in investment banking is advantageous.
