Job Description
To play a key role in the commercial team by providing business development support for sales team members and other client facing staff with a primary responsibility for a mix of tactical and administrative functions. Works closely with other members of the department in region and centrally.
Plays a key role in assisting with sales support, BD and marketing initiatives, primarily for UAE, but also globally as required. Also responsible for ensuring that local BD activities are implemented strategically and cost effectively. Consistently builds and reinforces the company s brand through marketing communications and business development activities.
Main Responsibilities
Pitches, Proposals and Collateral
• Support the preparation of proposals and pitches
• Develop regional collateral, with support from central marketing function
• Manage jurisdiction and service line marketing collateral eg local team sheets
Client/Intermediary Relationships and Targeting
• Develop and coordinate UAE based sales campaigns
• Develop and implement local Strategic accounts initiatives in conjunction with central lead
• Conduct research and analyse information on new clients and target markets including client segmentation and prospecting
Pipeline and Opportunity Management
• Support for fee earners to push opportunities from identification through pipeline in Salesforce to close
• Pipeline oversight including reporting and dashboard support in Salesforce
Events and Conferences
• Work with central marketing team to identify and coordinate attendance/sponsorship for local third-party conferences and Ocorian hosted events including webinars
• Maintain regional BD events calendar
Marketing, Promotion and PR
• Work with central marketing team to build the Ocorian brand in the region using PR, digital, print etc to build awareness of Ocorian s people, products and services
