Western Valuers Consultancy headquartered in Dubai. We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization specializing in real estate valuation, Plant & Machinery (Industrial Business Assets) Valuation and development strategic advisory.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant , who has experience in the consultancy industry.

Responsibilities
• Manage General Ledger by checking journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy
• Responsible for all activities of the accounting and VAT, such as accounts payable, payment, accounts receivable, collections, financial statement closing and payroll
• Preparation of annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting estimates and in variance analysis
• Preparing monthly and annual accounts
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Handle VAT reporting (payables and receivables). Ensure collections and payments are done in line with UAE regulations
• Keep accurate and up to date financial record; receipts, invoices, final statements etc.
• Prepare financial reports when required
• Coordinating portfolio valuation inspections, time frames and information with the regional offices, ensuring all information is collected as required.
• Amending, formatting, proofreading, and collating a PDF draft and final report to ensure they are in line with our corporate standard with particular attention to consistency.
• Maintaining an accurate filing system and accounting records
• Maintain detailed and comprehensive financial control documentation
Skills/Experience
• A bachelor s degree in finance, business or related field
• At least 2 years of experience
• Proficient in excel (A must)
• Good report writing skills and high level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and to have a proactive, positive approach
• Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
• Computer literate with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivating and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
