A IT System Administrator’s responsibilities include:
Analyzing system and application logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
Technical support and answering technical queries and assisting users, developers and Customers
Responsibility for security.
Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
Troubleshooting any reported problems.
System performance tuning.
Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
Configuring, adding, and deleting file systems.
Ensuring parity between dev, test and production environments.
Training users
Plan and manage the machine room environment
MySQL Database Administration
Network Administration
Storage (SAN) Administration

Administrators need to evaluate networks and systems to make sure that they perform reliably and to anticipate new requirements as customers’ needs change.

Administrators must describe problems and their solutions to non-IT workers.

Administrators may have to work on many problems and tasks at the same time.
Problem-solving skills.
Administrators must quickly resolve problems that arise with computer networks.
Bachelor’s degree or postsecondary certificate or an associate’s degree in a field related to computer or information science - must
Fluent English (speak, read, write) and Russian (speak, read, write) - must
Salary based on the results of the interview and probation period AED 7,000 - 10,000
