About the Position
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Manager for our Construction Equipment Division in Famco who will strategically manage service activities in workshop and filed and to be in line with achieving sales targets. Direct follow-up with key accounts and coordinate with sales and aftermarket managers to have more initiatives in place, get more service jobs and increase service revenue.
Reporting to the Head of the Division, you will be responsible for the following tasks.
Supervise and manage daily service activities and on-going repairs in workshops in addition to field service inspections and repairs and to be in line with achieving the set sales targets
Ensuring technical support through knowledge sharing and promoting best practice, supporting best values for both company and customers.
Control and supervise service estimates and quotation submitted to customers with clear scope of work, delivery time, payment terms and warranty terms and conditions, providing detailed technical analysis and support to ensure profitable costing, visiting and negotiation with customers to get the jobs in.
Improve and maximize productivity through proper organization and utilization of manpower and proper tools and ensure a safer workplace, fewer defects and better communication.
Monitoring WIP (work in progress) on daily basis and segregating jobs (waiting for parts or manpower or customer approval etc.) and advise best solutions to proceed with and reduce the WIP as much as possible.

About the You:
To consider you for this position you will have the following experience, skills and knowldege:
B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in Volvo construction equipment
Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy equipment and preferred to be in Volvo construction equipment.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of construction equipment industry in terms of service, parts and parts sales.
Problem solving, activity planning & organizing, ability to work with teams and under pressure, high level of communication skills and technical knowledge with the ability to learn new products technical changes to specifications & product features, benefits and innovations.
Ability to communicate easily with internal and external customers, open and honest and takes ownership to solve issues, responsible and has cultural awareness and empathy, should be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.
