Role: Data Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Duration: 24 Months
ROLE PURPOSE:
Ability to analyze data and generate MIS reports and data management
Conduct data analysis for ongoing data remediation exercises, and support with data sourcing for various initiatives across the department
Implementation of initiatives and projects related to data quality
To establish process for an effective performance measurement technique to support functional heads and be able to identify opportunities of improvement in the process to improve customer experience
To be the central point of contact and provide support to functional teams by working on exploratory data analysis, creating, and converting into meaningful and analytical dashboards
Provide data to senior management to enable business decisions, support in improving data quality enhancement projects
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for productivity and capacity assessments driving process improvements, cost and operational efficiencies driving best practices across the team
Manage project governance in an effective manner ensuring schedules and milestones achieved, and project executed in a controlled manner
Key Responsibilities:
To work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges

Provide & present data to senior management to enable business decisions, support in improving data quality enhancement projects
Create and design MIS and dashboards for effective performance management
Create and manage central data repository to support the execution of data remediation activities based on regulatory requirements
Extract data from core based on business requirements to support subsequent activities to be performed to comply with regulatory & compliance requirements
The role holder would need to coordinate with various departments in Client understanding the data requirements on business needs, manage prioritization, analysis, and execute implementation.
Candidate should be detailed oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
Should have ability to work independently and with others, should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and extremely organized with strong time management skills.
Results Required:
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of data management and governance and share best practices
Recommend controls by identifying problems
Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions.
To communicate update and findings, and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
Actively participate in the implementation of approved projects managing and tracking related cost
Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

Good knowledge of retail business and functionality
Big data management skills
Advanced skills on MS Excel, Power Point
Data governance on Power BI
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills

Proactive, confident, dedicated, and cooperative team worker
Knowledge of banking products, services knowledge required to undertake the role
Previous experience required (if any)
Candidate should have minimum 8 -10 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in building data models and using tools like Power BI, Excel Power Query, Excel Macros…etc
Good project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point of time, strong relationship building skills, and communication skills
