VMD Specialist

A Multinational company into Consumer Electronics is looking for a VMD Specialist position (Visual Merchandising Display).
Job Location: Dubai
• The brief Job Description is as follows:-
• Design the VMD guideline together with Marketing and Area Sales
• Plan and schedule Happy Project implementation by target shops & by country wise
• Coordination & proper scheduling of Launch projects according to timelines (Gantt chart)
• Develop weekly PDC cycle in terms of VMD Operation e.g. display implementation, etc.
• Monitor and evaluate on a monthly basis the display at shops and use the VMD checklist for tracking and scoring purposes.
• Ensure PIC such as VMD Leader, VMD Controller, Area Sales, Business Partners adhere to guidelines and timelines as set
• Conduct frequent planned training for VMD Leader / controllers about displays guidelines
• Monitor shops VMD scores based on created / enhanced checklist
• Review VMD scores of each targeted shops to address the issues and take actions within set timeline
• Prepare and submit Monthly Report to Department Head about the status of Display implementation
• Handles country & product category providing shopfront support ensuring that display implementations are adhering to Retail guidelines.
Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of MS office especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Advantageous if you are familiar with editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Up)
• As this requires some amount of training, candidates should have good communication skills and comfortable in public speaking
