Prepare and detail TEKLA concrete precast models using Tekla Structures by incorporating and coordinating project requirements (Architectural and MEP) without compromising the constructability of these designs. Prepare detailed precast production, assembly, erection drawings. Coordinate with other project stakeholders to ensure the use of creative solutions in the design of jobs that reduce manpower requirements, cost and time.
We seek a Detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive Civil Draftsman / TEKLA Structures designer to collaborate and work cohesively with our high-achieving team and organization. The desired individual will assist in streamlining creative design and technical production from conception through overall completion of projects, utilizing TEKLA Structures for all project phases to deliver high detailed models and shop-drawings, mainly related to Precast works. This role includes coordination with the project team. The candidate will be required to coordinate and review designs and drawings (may include drawings of other disciplines and sub-contractors) and monitor BIM Model Progress (clashes, standards, etc). He or she must be acquainted w/ technical drawing conventions & standards, have time management skills able to detail with speed and accuracy.
The successful candidate may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management. He or she will be supported by lead Concrete Designer however he or she should be able to work autonomously.

Minimum 3-year experience in TEKLA Structures preferable working in a reputable Consultant or Contractor.
Concrete drawing experience required
Precast experience desirable but not mandatory
Modular building experience desirable but not mandatory
Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that can manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines
Experience in both Tekla modelling and drawings
Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with internal / external team members on project deadlines and workflow milestones
Detail-oriented, analytical skills, self-motivated and proactive
Demonstrate quality and thoroughness in all aspects of work performed
Thorough knowledge of concrete building systems with the ability to create technical drawings and 3D models in accordance to standard construction techniques and principles
Software:
Tekla Structures, AutoCAD (Preferably Trimble and Autodesk Autocad Certified)
Microsoft Office, at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
