Radicle is looking for an ambitious ESG & Impact Assessment Officer to be responsible for developing and overseeing projects & programs related to environmental, social and corporate impact.
The main duties and responsibilities under this role:
Define steps necessary to address impact and ESG gaps for potential clients and identify opportunities to proactively add value and contribute to their long-term developmental impact and sustainability.
Formulate recommendations and requirements for clients to align with the global ESG metrics.
Lead on design and development of products and services related to this portfolio
Build a database of clients Radicle can approach for their impact reporting needs and ESG metrics development.
Develop technical and commercial proposals for potential clients, especially ESG/ sustainability review and guidance.
Manage the use of customer insight and intelligence to build a better understanding of client impact reporting needs.
Actively contribute in developing the strategic plans for acquiring, growing and developing customer relationships using his/her impact reporting expertise.
Build and maintain relationships with relevant external stakeholders to keep up to date with developments and regulations.
Provide technical expertise on key issues related to environmental and social impact assessment and on sustainability risks in the design, preparation, implementation and supervision of projects.
المهارات
To be successful in this role, you need to be:
Highly motivated and able to work independently.
Having a robust influencing and engagement ability; adept at building relationships.
Having a degree in impact assessment (e.g. SROI), environmental management, environmental sciences or relevant fields.
Having 3-5 years of relevant experience in working across different industry sectors working in fields such as finance, education, healthcare or agribusiness.
Possessing oral and written professional proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Having strong written communication skills, including sustainability reporting.
