Responsible for the planning, direction and operation of workshop engineering and associated services, establishing and reviewing standard operating policies and procedures as well as risk assess working practices to ensure health and safety compliance
Oversee the workshop ensuring smooth workflow and lead a team of engineering managers.
Responsible for Scheduling, Project Planning and Job allocation in the workshop for day to day Operations.
Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested.
Ensure that work undertaken meets defined standards, codes of practice, build successful relationships with external providers and customers and ensure that workshop is appropriately operated and maintained within regulations.
Work with the Operations to respond to client’s requests for updates on the status of their jobs and Keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.
Work with the operation department to investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from Products and suggest appropriate solutions. Discuss with team to identify appropriate course of Action.
Ensuring that all Division work activities are completed to the required quality standards.
المهارات
Native English speaker / European National
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
15-20 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in managing a large repair and maintenance operation in relevant industry
General knowledge of AC and DC motors, motors used in the drilling industry, Ex motors, mechanical and magnetic brakes, rotors and armatures, exciters, bearings, sleeves, shafts, seals, transformers, and other equipment
Project management and planning skills
Expert in reports preparation
Extremely organized with the drive to motivate the team of managers and engineers.
