•Must have knowledge of procurement process/inventory process, creation of PO, PI and Payment collection, reports for receivables, and payable aging. Reduce collection period and increase payment period.
•Document financial transactions by entering account information.
•Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
•Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
•Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
•Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
•Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
•Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
•Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
•Secure financial information by completing database backups.
•Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
•Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
•Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
•Comply with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
•Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
•Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
