Customs Clearance

We are a food distribution company located in DIP 2.
Looking for experienced customs clearance executive well versed in Customs formalities in Dubai Airport and Jebel Ali Port.

Expertise in preparing and filing import and export BOE.

Expertise in E-Mirsal 2, Customs Inspection formalities, Dubai Municipality Formalities etc.

Experience in handling food is an added advantage.

Communicate effectively with Purchasing Department and understand the demand plan for the month and plan effective clearance for the cargo accordingly.

Follow up with Purchasing Department for Pre-Alert of the shipment and follow up closely with the Shipping Line/Agent/Airliner/Freight Forwarder for the arrival of the shipment.

Send Pre-Alert to Logistics, Warehouse Supervisor & Back Office with the packing list for the cargo expected to arrive at UAE and with a ETA and tentative clearance schedule.

Check and Ensure all documents such as health certificates, commercial invoice, packing list, Waybill etc required for clearance is available atleast 24hours prior to the arrival of the cargo.

Check with Finance and Ensure sufficient Funds are maintained for the clearance to progress without any delays and demurrages.

Liaise with Logistics Department to ensure vehicles are placed for the collection of the cargo at the respective port/terminal/location.
