We have an opportunity for a Regional General Manager / Install General Manager for our Honeywell Building Technologies team based in Dubai, UAE.
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a $2.5B strategic business unit in Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings, Projects and facilities connected, safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for the Projects P&L;in the META Region that results through Orders, Sales and Project delivery to achieve AOP targets. You will use all available levers to ensure that Projects Business continues to grow through a talented, motivated and accountable team. You will deliver results through functional excellence, capability development, process standardization and Project management discipline necessary to the deliver the Projects P&L;on time and at planned gross margins or higher for the HBS business.
You will further be responsible for leading the projects team to deliver industry-leading solutions which meet/exceed customer expectations and are delivered within estimated financial targets. This role will work very closely with all HBT Global Functional leadership to effectively support the delivery of the STRAP and AOP commitments. You will work very closely with the Sales Director of META and the Vertical Sales Leaders and Regional Sales Manager to maximize the Orders Intake and improvise the mix of the business.
Regional General Manager / Install General Manager Responsibilities: -
Define and clearly articulate a business growth plan, and drive the growth strategy for the business ensuring sales and profit objectives are met or exceeded.
Establish an annual business plan and ensure business execution to meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets
Full ownership for Projects P&L;performance. Monitor monthly financial performance, incl. orders/pipeline reviews and estimates versus actuals reviews to continuously improve the Projects operational metrics
Drive Orders Growth across all the Sub-Regions in the Projects Business by closely working with the Sales and P&E;Teams.
Drive Projects performance across business in close partnership with Functional Leaders.
Accountable from orders to cash, incl. Orders, Revenue & OI metrics for the Projects business including project estimation, execution and risk management.
Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope and with zero or positive deviation
Leverage best-practice projects processes (PM dashboard, labor rate standards, post award savings etc.) and pro-actively utilize outcome driven analytics to optimize resource deployment. Ensure Projects & Sales are resourced properly across the region, developing effective partnerships with GBO (Global Business Operations) to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available
Drive cost control and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes/tools and engagement of the Supply Chain team.

Qualifications & Experience: -
Minimum Bachelor degree in Business, Technology or other related field
Minimum of 15 years’ experience with thorough knowledge of General Management accountabilities
Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing people
Experience working in a multi-national, matrixed organization
Business fluent in spoken and written English, additional languages an advantage
Strong understanding of business financials, coupled with the ability to understand financial data at contract level and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved
Strategic and analytical thinking, and oriented toward achieving objectives
Risk Management - The ability to understand the implications and assess the appropriate degree of acceptable risk and take actions to minimize risk
Operational Analysis – The ability to obtain relevant information on operational issues from multiple sources, think broadly about those issues and recognize trends/possible cause-effect relationships and share insights globally.
