1. Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.
2. Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
3. Preparing meat and fish
4. Assisting with the management of health and safety
5. Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
6. Managing and training any Commis Chefs
7. Monitoring portion and waste control
8. Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
Desired Candidate Profile
* Previous kitchen experience in Arabic restaurants in UAE.
* with relevant experience in preparing fish dishes or seafood dishes.
* Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications, including Basic Food Hygiene
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent ability to communicate effectively
* The ability to meet hygiene standards
* Be self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
* A team player that will help the company to attain its goal.
