We are looking for a freelance sales consultant typically represents the company to sale our IT products & services and works to achieve their sales goals. Working on a freelance basis, these sales consultants seek out clients on their own and then generate leads to improve the company’s sales. They may be responsible for selling one or several products and work exclusively through commissions. Everyday job duties include growing a business’s customer base through outreach, writing sales contracts, updating proposals, and negotiating prices for services. Qualifications for this career include years of experience as a sales agent, a broad knowledge of various markets, and strong communication and research skills.
Reports to: Sales Manager
Hours: Flexible Timing
Remuneration: Commission only - Following a six month internship, the position becomes permanent for the outstanding performers.
Your duties
· Responding promptly to inbound enquiries
· Consulting with clients to understand their needs
· Guiding prospective clients through the sales process
· Following up your pipeline
· Prospecting and generating new leads (online, networking, events, etc.)
· Briefing Sales Manager when proposals are required
· Client education, handling objections
· Regular achievement of targets
· Providing excellent customer service
· Managing client relationships, satisfaction and expectations
