Accountant cum Inventory Controller

A leading jewelry company in Dubai is looking for Accountant cum Inventory Controller
Job description:
• Communicate with all department managers and purchasing on inventory levels
• Handle a high performing inventory management team
• Set up and implement inventory management policies as well as procedures
• Conduct weekly and monthly physical assets as well as tools count in the company and highlight variances to the management
• Work with the warehouse team to implement and ensure control system to reduce damage, breakage as well as inventory obsolescence
• Generate and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc inventory levels
• Preserve acceptable and accurate inventory levels at inventory locations
• Maintain accurate posting of all inventory transactions into the system
Job Qualifications: 
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory management
• Must be familiar with current inventory control systems
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Expertise in MS Office suite
• Must have knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Should have good knowledge of the relevant software packages
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
