Purchasing Officer with food retail/ FMCG experience

Our company is looking to hire for a Purchasing officer with food retail/ FMCG experience.

Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
Enter order details into internal databases and maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability
Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments and received stock.
Preparing Import and Export documents
Coordinating with delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field
Proven experience in food retail/ FMCG is a must
Well versed in Purchasing softwares like Tally and SAP
Available to join immediately
