الوصف الوظيفي To support the General Manager in overseeing and coordinating in conjunction with efficient management of the business. To manage and co-ordinate the implementation of FOH & BOH training schedules in order to ensure that all targets are achieved whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction are met at all times. The Restaurant Manager will also function as a key role in considering new staff member, constant assessment of business efficiency and improvement as well as meeting customer demand and expectations. The Restaurant manager position is dynamic and requires high level of flexibility and adaptability with not only maintaining service standards in the operational locations but also offer organizational support and coordination for events and other relevant business additions. Key Areas of Responsibilities: Responsibility and authority § Overlooks the FOH/BOH/Casual staff Leadership § In conjunction with the General Manager execute the planned strategy including managing department staff and teams, train new staff members, evaluate current staff members and lead by example while ensuring high levels of engagement and competence. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) § Oversee and ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE management policies, procedures and controls across TLH to ensure that the business provides a safe, world-class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people. § Ensure a key focus on quality and consistency is achieved across the business and every guest experience. § Execute strategies and implement policies and procedures related to general hygiene requirement as per DM rules and regulations. To give training § To know and understand the SOP training manual and teaching method § Keep record of training sessions and progress § Closely monitor trainees during the service and actively teach them as they work - Regularly communicate with senior managers to evaluate trainees’ progress and offer feedback § Both on an individual and group basis train and develop each team member to ensure overall progress is made. Principal accountabilities § Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations § Deliver superior guest services § Ensuring guest satisfaction § Understand and execute the overall service strategy § Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints § Manage and lead all service teams § Control costs and minimize wastes as per KPIs and targets § Nurture a positive working environment § Monitor overall operations and initiate corrective actions § Suggest and implement innovative strategies to improve overall productivity and sales. Daily Operations § Check all the PDQ machines and ensure they are fully operational; if not, follow the maintenance procedure Ensure all air conditioning and extraction is working fully § Actively participate in the service during the shift: greeting, serving, making conversation with guests. Creating a unique guest experience whilst ensuring a smooth faultless service. § Ensure that the entire restaurant is kept clean and safe during the shift, complying with all relevant legislations and laws § Arrange the breaks for the staff and to ensure a proper hand over is done before staff leave the floor not to cause any issues to the operation § Listen to guest’s comments and complaints, dealing with them prudently in line with our standards and resolving any issues before any guests leaves. Stock Control § Spot check the ordering and receiving in accordance with business policy and operational requirement. § Perform weekly and monthly stock take, identify overall usage, wastage, discrepancies aligned with the operations. § Prepare analysis and reports to discuss with General manager. § Overlook the sales mix and propose overall menu improvement and an efficient circulation to maintain an attractive offering. § To be fully responsible for the security of the restaurant premises and all stock, cash, wines and spirits. Guest Relationships § Identify regular guests and important clientele, encouraging all staff to do the same. § Create a memorable experience for the guests whilst building a positive relationship with our regulars. § Promote the restaurant through excellent food and service, in order to build business and develop a ong-term customer base. § Handle overall guest complaints to ensure every guest leave satisfied. § Turn around any negative dining experience by performing high level of hospitality and guest recovery actions. Reports and meetings § Organize and attend regular management and staff meetings in order to discuss and solve operational problems and to establish strategies for continued improvement and growth. § Attend and contribute to all staff briefings and other related activities. § Conduct one-on-one meetings/appraisals with staff members to improve management-staff relationships and to improve communication in the overall operations. Health and Safety and staff welfare § Ensure impeccable standards of cleanliness throughout the operation. § Ensure all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified. § Be fully conversant with all departmental fire, and emergency procedures. § Ensure the safety of the persons and property of all within the premises by fairly applying regulations, by strict adherence to existing laws, statures and applicable ordinances and by anticipating possible and probable hazards and conditions. § All staff within the operations must be trained in a manner, which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to themselves or others § Work in accordance with legislation relating to equality of opportunity in the workplace.
