الوصف الوظيفي
Job Purpose:

To develop proprietary products in the most effective manner to meet the consumer inclination, maintain the quality of products and process as per Quality Policy and facilitate in enhancing market share of the company.

Responsibilities:

1. To develop products for Industrial Paints such as Stoving / QD Enamels, Grey / Red Oxide Primer, Phenolic Epoxies / Epoxies,

Polyurethanes and provide value engineered products based on market needs

2.To develop products for Wood coatings: Sanding sealer, Stains, PU / Acrylic Topcoats and offer cost effective solutions

3. To develop Floor coatings, Epoxy and PUs and establish the same at customer end

4. Provide technical service and train internal sales staff to handle customer complaints

5. Streamline and standardize all the formulations to ensure consistent quality and performance are met at customers end.

6. Cost updates to be done on monthly basis

7. Alternate RM testings

8. Provide inputs and guidance in raw materials selection; participate in Vendor evaluation, oversee due diligence process to

ensure credibility of the Suppliers and their products

9. Ensure team is presented with necessary communications and tools to facilitate smooth co-ordination with different unit to

deliver results as agreed and as per the time-line

10. Regularly review various processes and suggest the most efficient process for Management approval

11. Follow strictly all Safety and Health hazards regulations

12. Ensure all Statutory and Legal compliances are duly followed by the team

Minimum requirements:

1. Minimum Degree in Chemistry / Paint Technology preferably with added qualification in Management from an Institute of repute

2. Minimum 8 - 10 years of which at least 3 years in similar capacity in a manufacturing organization, capable of handling full

fledged R&D;facility, developing tropicalized formulations as well as getting international certification for products developed

3. Proven track record in developing team of paint technologists

4. Minimum requirements can be waived in case of exceptional candidates
