الوصف الوظيفي • He/she should work closely with the Head of Department, keeping the latter informed of serious medical problems and request assistance in areas of dispute between colleagues. • To perform the microscopic examination of blood films with morphologic abnormalities, write the report and follow up the case. • To examine the slides of bone marrow aspirates and trephines and when applicable review the accompanying flow cytometry results and report them. • To write the report for special tests, such as coagulation tests and hemoglobin electrophoresis. • Direct supervision of the flow cytometry laboratories as far as technical issues and results. • Direct supervision for certain patients with diseases of the blood like Leukaemia, Thalassemia and Sickle cell anaemia. • To observe and follow up patients with post transfusion reactions. • To participate in Blood Transfusion Committee in his/her Hospital. • He/she is ultimately held responsible for appropriate and complete reports/results generated in the Haematology laboratory on all patients. • He/she should actively participate in medical staff conferences and meetings and serve on various hospital committees as requested. • May be required to present formal Policy and Procedure Guidelines within their specific field of competence. Such PPGs may only go into effect after discussion within the Department and with the final approval of the signature of the Head of Department. Such PPGs should be dated and signed by the responsible authority and should guarantee efficient performance of the laboratory. • He/she should provide on call coverage on a rotational basis during non-working hours. According to present rules and regulations within the DHA such duties do not confer additional compensation. • He/she should accept delegated responsibility and also accept to work as Acting Head of Department when so requested. He/she can be promoted to the position of HOD, if qualifications are appropriate. • He/she should be responsible for putting the overall technical policies and procedures in the Haematology laboratory, organize workflow, introduce new tests and educate Haematology staff members in new techniques. • He/she should be involved in monitoring and establishing quality control and safety measures in the laboratory. • He/she should be responsible for evaluation of all Haematology staff working in the laboratory and keeping record of their performance. • He/she should be responsible for supervising research activities taking place in the Haematology laboratory. • He/she is responsible for ordering of reagents and equipment to the Haematology laboratory and issuing yearly demands and keeping track of laboratory statistics. المهارات Minimum Experience: 3 years experience Required Nationality: All Nationalities (Priority for UAE National) تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/uae/jobs/hematology-transfusion-ser-rashid-hospital-specialist-senior-registrar-temporary-4191530/ |
