As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment including cleaning and polishing of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery to ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;[ML1]

Collecting and removing trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures
Disposing of waste as per the hotel and authority standards and adhering to recycling guidelines
Ensuring waste bin area is kept clean and tidy
Carrying out general cleaning as directed, including sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying the rubbish bins and boxes while ensuring containers are replacement in the correct areas
Cleaning and sanitising pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures
Cleaning and maintaining floors and walls in the kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.

The ideal candidate must have good command of English and be physically capable to undertake manual work.
