Job Responsibilities :-
• L1/L2 of Business Applications (Opera, Simphony, Spasoft, Club On, PacSoft)
• Speedy resolution of the day to day issues pertaining to business applications
• Coordinate all day to day IT support/helpdesk issue in a quick and efficient manner.
• Total visibility into the job life-cycle.
• Fast ticket re-assignment based on skills, availability, or automatically assigned
• Instant notification to other staff members and teams for incident and problem records.
• All incidents should be documented with resolution to create Knowledge-base.
• Menu Maintenance for various POS application (Micros/Spasoft/PacSoft)
• User Creation and management of all the applications.
• Ensure that all system backups are taken regularly.
• Ensure that all required service packs / antivirus are installed and updated
• Maintain a regular preventive maintenance schedule for all Systems
• Follow up and make call backs to associates where necessary;
• Routine spot-checks should be carried out on all IT systems.
• Implement all IT related standards set by the company by following the guidelines.
• Any major problems should be reported to the IT Specialist or IT Manager immediately.
• Ensure that the error logs of all systems are evaluated and notified to the IT Team in order to rectify problems.
• Maintain the security/confidentiality of all software and information stored i.e. all data in the system is vital and critical to the hotel operation and should not be disclosed to any personnel, copied or e-mailed to any source, unless instructed by IT Manager or written instructions received from the Executives of the hotel.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations.
• To build a network of contacts, both internally and externally and develop key operational relationships to ensure the delivery of objectives, and to keep up to date with
• Provide 24x7 on call duties as required.
Qualification:
A degree within the information technology field and previous experiences in the same role along with a proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
System-related professional certifications like IELTS, PMP MCSE, CCNA etc. are desirable
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the capacity of Asst IT Manager
