Responsibilities: Essential Duties
Leadership of all aspects of financial management, accounts and controls.
Ensure financial efficiency in all aspects of operations.
Work in coherence with the service provider to manage the financial activities of the organization.
Prepare the year-end financial accounts for audit and liaise with the auditors prior to sign-off.
Ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports are produced and reported timely and accurately.
Maintaining an efficient overview of the company’s bank and in-house cash accounts in respect of payments and receipts. Ensure that all bank accounts statements are reviewed.
Manage monthly payroll, pay slips and ensure necessary deductions and reimbursements are processed against staff accounts.
Advising the managing director of any problems or weaknesses in financial controls and procedures, and any ways in which costs could be reduced.
Oversee management and control of fixed assets, equipment and supplies.
Ensure that invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, etc. are well accounted for and maintained efficiently.
Supervising tax accounting processes and ensuring the timely submission of VAT returns.
Uphold and embody the company’s values and compliance code of conduct at all times.
Responsibilities: Administration Tasks
Administration and organization of training courses which includes but is not limited to maintaining participant data, flight details, arranging hotel bookings and managing other logistics.
Maintaining all staff contracts and HR documents.
Oversee management of the office which includes lease arrangements and payment of rent, property insurance, procurement of office supplies, furniture and equipment and supervision of maintenance and cleaning.
Implement HR policies when required to ensure compliance with UAE statutory regulations.
Ensure organizational compliance in line global corporate guidelines.
Monitor leaves taken by staff, ensure all leaves are approved by supervisors and tracked periodically.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of finance experience.
Basic knowledge of financial processes within an organization.
Development and management of financial reports.
Desired:
Master’s Degree in Finance or ACCA or any similar degree or certification.
Experience with financial tools like SAP FICO or solutions like Wave, Sage, Zoho, etc.
5 years of experience in finance and administration.
Work experience in a multi-national company.
Experience in handling VAT in UAE.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Ability to communicate well in English.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with peers, management, business groups, vendors, etc.
Good understanding of general business practices.
Knowledge and experience in operating Microsoft Windows and MS Office tools.
Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Ability to define and explain work methods.
