Senior Manager Venue Management – Central Planning

The purpose of Venue Management, Senior Manager – Central Planning is to work within the Venue Management central planning team to manage the development, planning and delivery of the venue management programme and site wide operational planning and documentation required for event time operations.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Lead the team ensuring all deliverables are achieved;

- Manage the strategic development and delivery of the Venue Management integrated delivery programme including definition of milestones and short and long term planning and operational deliverables;

- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders communicating deliverables and dependencies, agreeing service levels, and ensuring effective operational delivery;

- This role will transition into a key event time delivery role within the Expo Operations Centre;

- Integrate external stakeholders into the Expo Operations Centre and wider operations centres;

- Create operational efficiencies through innovative and integrated processes and service design;

- Lead the team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports;

- Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues;

- Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs.

المهارات
8+ years’ experience in a senior management role working on a previous major event or leisure attraction with specific experience related to planning and operations as well as:

- A Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field;

- Programme / project manager experience supporting large complex projects;

- Knowledge across all key event operational functions;

- Experience in planning transition to operations;

- Experience in working with senior multi agency Government partners and stakeholders.
