Grinderman Machinist

Job Purpose:
Precision grinding of components on Cylindrical OD, ID & Surface Grinding machines.
Primary responsibility is to perform precision grinding & polishing of steel components.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Calibrate / Record existing dimensions/ distortion of jobs to be ground
2. Select best suitable grinding wheel, mount & balance as required
3. Load & setup / true jobs for proof / finish grinding
4. Grind the jobs as per drawing / given dimensions or sample
5. Cross check ground dimensions & surface finish with QC
6. Offload jobs, apply anticorrosive lubricant & pack after inspection

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
• Qualifications: ITI
• Experience: 5+ years in the same field.
